WHAT IS HOOKIN2HOCKEY ?
Hookin2Hockey is Reds Hockey Club's introductory program designed for kids to start their hockey journey in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. It’s all about making friends, learning new skills, and enjoying the thrill of hockey. Whether your child is new to the game or looking to build confidence on the field, Hookin2Hockey is the perfect place to start.

Our Hookin2Hockey sessions are held at: Trevor Gribble Park Willetton, WA
Saturday mornings, May to August
KINDY
The journey starts at Kindy Hookin2Hockey, where we use large, colorful plastic balls to make it easy for kids to identify and trap the ball. These 30-minute sessions keep young players engaged with a variety of activities and courses, teaching the very basics of pushing and trapping using the correct side of the stick.
LEVEL 1
Aimed at school year 1 and below, Level 1 uses a larger ball, a smaller field, and fewer players per team to make it easier for kids to learn introductory skills and get involved in the game. The rules are adapted to suit this level.

LEVEL 2
Designed for school year 2 players, Level 2 builds on the foundation of Level 1 with additional training and playing time. Progressing to a smaller ball, players continue to develop their skills. The rules are adapted to suit this level.

LEVEL 3/4
Aimed at school years 3 and 4, Graduates Hockey is the final step in the Hookin2Hockey pathway before moving into structured competition. Players use a standard hockey ball and play across 1/3 of a field, following normal hockey rules.
